supervision of therapists and counsellors

Supervision is an essential safeguard for clients, and a supportive venue for therapists and counsellors to develop their skills, competence and to keep abreast with developments in their field.

The British Association for Sexual and Relationship Therapy (BASRT) Code of Ethics and Principles of Good Practice requires all therapists and counsellors to have regular and sufficient supervision. I am BASRT Supervisor Accredited and a BACP, CPC registered supervisor. I adhere to BASRT, BACP and CPC Codes of Ethics and Principles of Good Practice.

I am a widely experienced and practising supervisor in counselling and psychosexual therapy in the private, public and voluntary sector. I supervise therapists and counsellors covering a range of therapeutic approaches including psychodynamic, systemic and cognitive behavioural techniques.
